Powerful illuminator
The power of the IR illuminator and the optical zoom make this license plate reader camera ideal for access control, even for heavy vehicles, where reading rear plates requires the camera to be installed at a distance from the entrance. It is also useful where vehicles enter at rather steep angles.
Accuracy
Selea does not merely indicate the types of integrated algorithms but also specifies their recognition accuracy, which is:
- 99.8% for license plate reading under any weather conditions, day or night, and for challenging plates (dirty, damaged, or at steep angles);
- 98% for reading ADR (Kemler-UN) placards on vehicles transporting dangerous goods;
Reading distance
For a 4-meter-wide passage, the camera allows for license plate reading at distances ranging from 3 m (min.) to 10 m (max.).
