One of the solutions that are gaining momentum in the digital age is the automation of the processes for checking inbound and outbound containers: an operation that is still done manually in many ports, but that can be automated using cameras specialized in reading the ILU-BIC container code. For these applications, Selea has developed a special reading camera.

Another application that can be used in ports, airports, and highways is the reading of ADR tables (Kemler-Onu codes), which are applied to heavy vehicles carrying dangerous goods (toxic, corrosive, radioactive, flammable and explosive substances).

This is important information not only for public safety but also for environmental control and verification that these substances are deposited in the proper disposal and storage sites and not released into the environment. All Selea license plate readers are equipped with algorithms to identify ADR tables and read the corresponding Kemler code in combination with the license plate reading.
