Imagine having a high-resolution product, also modular, to add just that extra “quid” that other proposals cannot afford. Targa 806 was created to offer high resolution with the possibility of installing one or more video analysis algorithms on board the camera.
Customizable video analysis
What makes this camera different, especially for territorial control, is the possibility to customize it to fit the needs of the tender, through the on-board camera integration of one or more of the currently available intelligent video analysis algorithms: make recognition (400), model (+9000), color (16 shades), type (+35 classes), vehicles in the wrong way, stationary vehicle, smoke and fire, and helmet presence, considering that as standard the camera already integrates speed estimation, direction of travel and nationality on board. Optional algorithms can also be entered later through a remote firmware update. This makes the Selea camera a renewable (Green), expandable, and technologically capable device that can renew itself to meet new customer needs: solution that offers benefits to the entire chain of public administration in urban security, investigation, and reporting of stolen vehicles for effective crime prevention and suppression.

OCR sensor
For single-lane recognition of license plates, the camera is equipped with a 5-Mpixel optical sensor with a 35-mm fixed focus lens. Single-lane recognition enables recognition of the highest resolution and accuracy, compared to any other solution.
Context sensor
In addition to the license plate reading sensor, the camera is equipped with a second 5-Mpixel Sony Night Vision high-sensitivity, high-definition sensor for color context image capture. Vehicles driving at night do not show trail effects.

Selea not only states the types of algorithms integrated but also states their recognition accuracy, which is:

Fog-Fighter
The camera is equipped with a powerful IR illuminator that enables license plate recognition even at night in dense haze.
